“A recent development at the research stage... I surround myself with objects which resonate for me, sometimes I make an object for this purpose. Without thinking about it too much, I pick up the object, be it ‘home-made’ or not, and play with it until something about where it is in juxtaposition with my body makes sense. I record the juxtaposition and reflect on its meaning. Later I work using the material this has thrown up for me.”
